Tomorrow begins the 40 days of the Lenten season. Many people are so busy or overwhelmed by the stressors of their day to day lives that the idea of taking time to contemplate their health and happiness seems frivolous. I do not think that could be further from the truth.
I believe that our health is the cornerstone to living our best lives. And that the better you feel, the happier you will be.
Take some time today and reflect on how you feel right now. Then consider how you might feel after 40 days of making your health a priority.
The way to change something is to DO something. Use these next 40 days to get yourself going. Start small. Pick one thing to add into your week, maybe a single daily action. Chose something so easy that there is no way for you to fail. Even the tiniest positive effort can create momentum, and those small changes in your actions make a powerful difference. Choose to use that power!
