What happens, when despite the best of intentions on improving your health, you find your motivation waning? You said you wanted to change. And you really meant it. You did amazing for a day or for a week, but then something happened. You got busy, or distracted, or maybe you just got scared.
And now, my friend, you are not going anywhere. Not making the changes you promised yourself you would. Not putting forth your best effort, or maybe any effort at all.
You are stuck. And maybe you don't even know the reason.
This is when you need to ask yourself WHY. But don't stop there. To really figure out what is going on, I suggest that you drill down further than that. I want you to ask yourself WHY 5 times.
The goal of this exercise is to get to the root cause of what is keeping you from doingwhat you say you want to do. You may uncover the real reason you don't have the time to exercise is because what you really hate is doing it alone. Or that the real reason you don't eat healthier at home is because you do not plan and prepare the meals to have the food in the house and ready when you need it.
Once you know the WHY you are stuck, you can address the problem head-on and prevent the pattern from repeating. There are solutions out there, but it is up to you to uncover what the real problem is! :)
You can live a healthy lifestyle in the real world without giving up everything that makes you happy.
